2 Day Dressage Seminar - "Quality is in the detail".

Fir Tree Stud, is delighted to announce that Peter de Cosemo will be holding a 2 day mounted seminar.
Peter de Cosemo produces and teaches all levels through to FEI Dressage level worldwide.

As well as a BHSI, trainer, judge and rider, Peter has a unique approach to combining bio-mechanics, horse psychology and dressage training with Yorkshire common sense to produce remarkable and long-lasting results in both horses and riders
The two day seminar includes:

* Wednesday morning - rides will be based on;
Balance, speed, tempo and rhythm in all paces. And understanding each one.
* Lecture/demo - ‘Effectiveness of rider position.’

* Wednesday afternoon - mounted lesson theme will be;
‘Lateral work according to level.’
* Lecture; ‘Understanding the scales of training.’

* Wednesday evening - Social gathering for all participants at local pub, TBA.

* Thursday morning - mounted lessons theme will be;
‘Canter work according to level’
* Lecture/demo - ‘School figures and some test patterns.’

* Thursday afternoon for all riders - ‘Simulating a competition environment’
To include how to warm up in a busy collecting ring. Mentally preparing for a test. All riders will ride through a simple test. Clinician and non riding students will be the judges.

All ridden places have been filled but we are taking a limited number of un-mounted participants, who will be involved in the proceedings throughout the day. They will be able to ask questions during ridden training sessions and participate fully in the lecture demos.
This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the Peter de Cosemo approach to dressage training and to meet fellow dressage enthusiasts. All levels of rider from novice upwards most welcome.
Un mounted participants £20 for 1 day or £30 for both days. Spaces limited so book early.
